Our medium frequency resistance welding transformer series is a core supporting component for medium frequency spot welding equipment, designed with mature water-cooled structure and nano-amorphous iron-based core technology. Featuring high power transmission, low loss, stable DC output and excellent thermal stability, this welding transformer is widely applicable for multi-layer metal plates, thick plates and various precision resistance welding scenarios, delivering reliable and high-efficiency welding performance.
Major Functions & Core Advantages
The medium-frequency transformer is composed of a rectifier module, high-quality iron core, precision windings and professional water cooling circulation system. Adopting low secondary voltage and high current output design, it supports intermittent cyclic operation with strong power transmission capacity, perfectly matching the working characteristics of resistance welding machines.
It supports two operating frequencies of 1kHz and 4kHz and outputs stable DC current. The secondary circuit features low inductive effect, which effectively improves overall thermal efficiency. Different from traditional AC transformers, its DC output concentrates welding heat on the welding spot, greatly reduces the welding heat-affected zone, and avoids excessive thermal deformation of workpieces. This advantage is particularly prominent in the welding of multi-layer metal materials and thick plates, ensuring neat and firm welding joints.
The transformer core adopts premium nano-amorphous iron-based strip material, possessing multiple superior physical properties including high magnetic flux density, high permeability, high Curie temperature and excellent thermal stability. Meanwhile, it effectively reduces eddy current loss and core loss, with higher magnetic induction intensity than conventional transformer cores, realizing energy-saving, low-consumption and long-term stable operation of the equipment.
